Dentistry From The Heart

On, November 11, 2011 Sala Family Dentistry will hold our third annual Dentistry From the Heart, Free Dental Day. We believe passionately in being active participants in the community we have served since 1974. Our goal is to help make the Reno-Sparks area a better place to live. We will be treating the first 125+ patients on a first come first serve basis. The team of dental professionals at Sala Family Dentistry will provide patients with a free extraction, filling or cleaning. There will be an 3 general dentists, an oral surgeon and numerous dental hygienists and assistants donating their time and resources, in order to provide free dental care to as many residents in need as possible. This DFTH event will donate thousands of dollars in free dental care and provide much needed relief to the people in need in the community!

Background: Dentistry From The Heart:
Dentistry From The Heart is a non-profit organization that was established in 2001. Dental offices from all over the country sign up to provide a free dental day for their community. In 2010 there were over 200 free dental events held in 48 states and Canada providing free care to over 17,000 people, constituting $5,000,000.00 in care value.
