Dr. Katie Foster was born and raised in Sparks, Nevada where she attended Reed High School. She moved to Thousand Oaks, California in 2005 where she attended California Lutheran University, and graduated with distinction receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Foster received her dental degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where early on she realized her passion for working with children. Following her dental training, Dr. Foster pursued her Pediatric Residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in association with the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Here, she obtained extensive knowledge regarding dental emergencies as well as the skills to care for special needs and medically compromised patients.
Dr. Foster is excited to be back in the great state of Nevada! In her free time, she relishes opportunities to travel and spend time with her amazing family. She enjoys being active, and is looking forward to enjoying Reno’s dry heat after experiencing humid summers in Texas.
Dr. Foster is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Foster knows that she has the best job in the whole world and is greatly looking forward to treating the amazing patients at Sala Family Dentistry.
