While sitting in the dental chair ( or any place that you can use some relaxation), a great way to help you relax and enjoy the time more, try this breathing technique. In thru the nose for four seconds, hold your breath for seven and then out thru the mouth for eight. And repeat, during the breathing focus on only the breathing and the counting of the seconds. This breathing technique helps slow the rate and depth of breathing which will help with staying in the present moment.
