Dr. Ryan, a sixth-generation Nevadan, has deep roots in Reno, having graduated from Wooster High School and the University of Nevada, Reno. After earning his doctor of dental medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University and completing his residency at UCLA, he returned to his hometown in 2012. Dr. Ryan’s dedication to pediatric dentistry has earned him the prestigious Best of Reno award for Best Pediatric Dentist two years in a row. Dr. Ryan is committed to providing compassionate and enjoyable dental care for children, creating lasting positive experiences that resonate for a lifetime.
Pediatric Dentistry
Our Board Certified Pediatric Specialist has an additional two years of specialized training and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
Advanced training is obtained in diagnostic and surgical procedures, along with child psychology and clinical management, oral pathology, child-related pharmacology, radiology, child development, management of oral/facial trauma, care for patients with special health care needs, conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.
A number of parents choose a pediatric dentist to provide their child’s dental care on the same basis as they select a Pediatrician to provide their child’s medical care. In dentistry, a Pediatric Dentist is equivalent to a pediatrician in medicine.
