What if 2020 is hindsight? Is it opening our eyes to 20/20 vision? This year has been painful in many ways, but what if it is opening our eyes and teaching us a lesson to slow down? We have been able to use this time to slow down and focus on things that matter the most around us.
Here are a few of the things we have learned and been the most grateful for:
- Being flexible and going with the flow is a must
- Patience and grace because although we are all in this together, it is different for everyone
- We love living in the Reno/Tahoe area and are so lucky to have so many outdoor adventures
- Like in photography, the contrast of colors is what makes things beautiful. If they were all the same, there wouldn’t be contrast.
- Water under the bridge is good
- We have enjoyed watching classic movies with the family: Caddyshack, Major League, E.T., Back to the Future, Karate Kid, Sandlot
- Don’t take for granted the simple things like a hug from a loved one
- Barbequing and s’mores are wonderful
What have you learned about yourself in 2020? What are you grateful for?
