Over the years, we’ve seen Sala Family Dentistry grow into something amazing, and to be honest: it’s all because of our patients. Through their loyalty to us, we’ve developed great, long-term relationships with each and every one of them that walks through our doors. They give us a reason to be excited when we wake up and come into the office every day – and for that, we will be forever grateful.
We are always looking for ways to give back to our patients and the community, which is why we’ve created the Happy Sala Days annual BBQ. It gives us an opportunity to continue to get to know our patients, meet new people, and have a great afternoon together.

Despite the threat of cool, rainy weather, we were lucky enough to have had the sunshine and warmth on our side. We had about 1,100 guests that came to hang out with us, and they were able to enjoy all of the festivities, such as our large lineup of local food trucks, including Still Rollin’, Starkey, Jazmine, Stix & Strips, and Food Evolution (we know…YUM). The kiddos also got to have some fun for themselves by scaling rock walls, getting their faces painted and taking over the lawn for quite the little dance party.
48 New Faces and Smiles
Our employees and volunteers all helped out at our different booths, including a new-patient signup booth (shout-out to the 48 new faces we met – can’t wait to see you soon!) and one for our own Smiles for FREEdom organization. We were also stoked to be joined by Grant & Shawna Korgan as they shared their inspiring stories of overcoming personal obstacles and living life to its greatest potential through giving back. Their organization, Spoke Up, had a booth set up where they sold Sala Blue bracelets made of bicycle spokes where 50 percent of the proceeds went directly to the Sala’s charity of choice, Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (if you missed out, you can still get yours).
We would love to thank everyone that came to hang out with us, and we hope you had as much fun as we did. We truly do appreciate you all, and we can’t wait until we see each one of your smiles in our office soon!
