Dr. Christina Knapp was born and raised in Reno, NV. She grew up in Verdi and attended McQueen High School. She continued on to study at the University of Nevada, Reno where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with minors in Business Administration and Biochemistry. She then went on to study dentistry at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. While at UNLV, she was a member of the American Student Dental Association, Sgt. Ferrin Memorial Veterans Clinic, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry Las Vegas Maxicourse. She is passionate about restoring smiles and function of teeth, as well as revitalizing people’s health. She is a current member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Nevada Dental Association, and Northern Nevada Dental Society. She is married to her husband Sean who works as a mechanical engineer. The two of them love to travel, spend time at Lake Tahoe, and hang out with friends and family. Dr. Christina is excited to be a part of the team at Sala Family Dentistry.
