We have been serving our Reno and Northern Nevada community since 1974. Growing up we remember our dad, Dr. Mike coming home from a day at the office happy. As children, we did not know the positive effect this would have, and naturally the two of us, Drs. Jason and Todd wanted to find something that would make us happy as well. We both found it through dentistry.

The beauty of dentistry is that we get to go through life with our patients, we get to grow up and old with you. It is through these relationships that we have developed an office-wide treatment philosophy of being “Caring People, Caring for People.”

Where do I begin..

Every single employee that I encountered in this office showed such an authentic and genuine desire to truly help people.

I spent decades neglecting my smile to ensure that my four children always had their own beautiful and healthy smiles. By the time I came to Sala Family Dentistry, it was simply because I could not handle the pain anymore. I had to put aside the crippling anxiety and immense shame that I carried to allow the doctor to repair all of the damage that had been done.

Dr. Joel and Stephanie immediately made me feel safe and hopeful. They made sure that I was always involved in every step and decision pertaining to the multiple, extensive , and necessary procedures I required. My children saw me smile for the first time in a very long time. That was a beautiful feeling that made all of us cry happy tears. We were all shocked and impressed at what Dr. Joel was able to reconstruct and repair.

I cannot begin to tell you how incredible it feels to be able to smile without shame. I am so grateful for Dr. Joel, Stephanie, Deana, and Jim for literally changing my world. I want to thank everyone at this office for being an amazing team, for being so incredibly kind, and for having authentic hearts of gold. You are all part the legacy of this family business, and I appreciate every single one of you.
