Toy Drive For Local Foster Kids

In our Reno-Sparks community, there our over a thousand foster kids in the system – and we want to help make their Christmas more special this year. We are going to play Santa this year! We are working directly with Washoe County Foster Organization to get toys to the kids for the holiday.

The goal of the Human Services Agency’s foster care system is to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children who either temporarily or permanently cannot be safely maintained in their own homes. Foster care is intended to be a short term situation until a permanent placement can be made.

Unfortunately, there are more than a thousand children in the system who will not have a family to share Christmas with this year. So we are challenging you and all your friends, family, acquaintances, whoever!

From now until Christmas, bring any unwrapped toy(s) by Sala Family Dentistry for foster kids of all ages. We want to give back to the youth this holiday season and hope you can be our little elves! We’re looking for toys or gifts for boys and girls of all ages. You drop off the toy or gift at your next appointment or just swing by the Sala Family Dentistry office and drop your toys or gifts here.
